While I hold a Performer's Diploma in Solo Performance from Indiana University, my musical education and performances have taken me all over the United States, from National Sawdust in Brooklyn to the New World Center in Miami. I especially love working with living composers, and to this end have premiered several works for cello and mixed ensemble.
I am the social media coordinator and a co-founder of ARTivism: Arts for a Cause, an organization dedicated to social justice and equity. An integral part of our mission is to amplify underrepresented voices in the arts while encouraging justice-oriented awareness and action.
I excel with beginning to intermediate-level cello students seeking a focused but fun introduction to classical music. Last summer, my ensemble worked with Britt Festival of Music and Arts in Southern Oregon to design and implement an interactive children's concert, and I have experience in both individual and small group instruction.
